In the mid nineteen nineties, Alaska's public television stations in Bethel, Fairbanks, and Juneau took the bold and innovative step of combining resources to form a statewide public television network. AlaskaOne serves nearly all public television viewers in the state outside of the South-Central region. AlaskaOne is seen on cable systems and translators throughout the state providing quality educational and entertaining programs 24 hours each day.

The stations of AlaskaOne produce programming collaboratively and conduct fundraising efforts in a partnership whereby member support goes directly to the station in the viewer's home region as determined by zip code. The stations continue to enjoy strong membership support, while creating efficiencies that have allowed public television to maintain its vital service to Alaskan's even in the remote regions of the state.

The 12th annual Red Green River Regatta was a floating success. Thanks to all participants and sponsors.
